The Rockhampton Foodbank is open every Thursday and Friday from 9.30am to 2.00pm at       16 Robison Street, Park Avenue (Nth. R’ton).

First time customers need to register at the check-in desk.

This is a once only register, and you can come every week if you want and pay a $60 handling fee which is to try to cover the Rent, the Huge Electricity costs, Insurances, Audits & general running costs including maintenance & to help go towards the food we purchase. A portion of the handling fee helps toward us & a partner supplying food to feed 3000 school breakfast per week from Gladstone to Rockhampton as well as supplying help for emergency situations, so you are really helping others through your handling fee -Thank You. The value of the hamper you choose is so much more than the handling fee. You choose the items you want.

The hamper that you choose to make usually includes your choice of frozen Meat, chicken, fish and bread, as well as, Milk, Dairy Products, a selection of Tinned and Packaged Foods, Fruit and Vegetables, as well as Toiletries, Household Cleaners and some Baby and Pet Food.

(The selection depends on what brands or items that are available on the day). You choose the items you want.

There is a BBQ breakfast between 9.30 am to 11am on Friday. There is a selection of Steak, bacon eggs, pineapple,mushrooms, as well as sausages & rissoles. Although we don’t charge for it, a small donation towards the costs are appreciated.

Our Volunteers and our Sponsors work really hard to provide quality products.

There is free tea/coffee available and a bite to eat. A quality thrift shop is also open to offer a selection of clothing, blankets, shoes,toys, books and other useful items.
