The Rockhampton Foodbank gratefully acknowledge and Thank our Sponsors.

A big thank you to Foodbank (Qld) Ltd for their past, current & future support.

An especially big thank you to Jeff at ROCKY A/C’s for his massive involvement in providing so much electrial work & donating so many hours (days) to get the building up & going safely. Rocky A/C’s is a local business that the community can trust to deliver top work at the right price. Also we would like to thank & recomend Shane from ANYTHING ELECTRICAL for his great assistance in the work.

A kind donation of electrical supplies for the work carried out by Jeff & Shane was fully donated by MM ELECTRICAL – many thanks to Jodie & all the management staff there.

Thanks to the RINGPULL ASSOCIATION INC. for the donation of a large freezer.

We use & recommend SMALLS TRADING CO who area very hands on with their locally produced farm fresh eggs. The staff are very frendly, knowlegable in the industry & the eggs produced are fantastic. Thanks for the eggs donated, the receipants were really grateful.

Thanks to DAWSON VALLEY FREE RANGE for their generosity of discounting their quality free range pastured meats so families can have more variety in their meals. We recomend this very healthy quality meat that are produced by this Local Qld Family Farm run by Kim & lucy. They are at the Kern Arcade markets on Sundays, half way down on the Right side as you come in from Bolsover Street.

Independ Riders (Aust) Pty Ltd donated their time to help move alot of our shelving & fridges into our premises where we trade. The group often does rides to raise funds for various charities also. A thank you to Graham & his mates.

A reliable & generous help to the Hands Of Compassion’s Rockhampton Foodbank is Sheryl Wolfenden who supplies us with quality sweet potatoes from her farm at Wolfenden Rd. Rossmpya. We really recomend her produce & if your buying sweet potato from a supermarket ask if its from her farm as she sells to some of them & hers is really the best, but Sheyrl takes her sweet potatoes to the Kern Arcade on Sundays so you can buy direct from her there (it’s the second vehicle in from the left in the front row). We would struggle to supply this quality if not for these people.

At the Kern Arcade is another fruit producer who is a big help to us (they are situated on the back row on the right near the shops entrance), They are called Berry Good Produce who have their farm on Belmont Rd. Glenlea. By buying from them you are not only getting locally grown produce but top prime quality produce at a fair dinkum good price. They are real genuine aussies who put people over profit. – Give them a go.

We are also greatful to Blackwater Quality meats of allowing Shane Shoesmith’s dad Max for their generosity of discounting their meats so families can have more variety in their meals. Max is at the Kern Arcade on Sundays with a wide spread variety of meats at great prices especially for the quality (Situated on the left side of the market). If you are buying meat anyway, you should try theirs – you won’t be disapointed.

The Aurizon Community Giving Fund has really assisted this charity with a generous grant of $9,000 which is enabling us to purchase equipment which allows us to be better equiped to service the community – A Genuine thank you to Aurizon.

We would like to thank PressedPear for providing hosting for our site and their time to consult with us on our digital strategy.
